BeyondPlay bolsters portfolio with new jackpot product and nets MGA supplier licence
B2B iGaming start-up BeyondPlay has secured a B2B Critical Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
The company – founded by former LeoVegas executive Karolina Pelc – has also added a jackpot engine to its portfolio of products that are currently under development.
The content-agnostic jackpot engine will be available as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model to casino operators, while offering branded and custom jackpots to players.
Ahead of the launch, BeyondPlay has so far secured three operator partners for the product, including ComeOn Group and Soft2Bet.
The product is expected to be rolled out during Q1 2023.
Jacqui Gatt, COO of BeyondPlay, expressed her delight at being awarded an MGA licence.
“As a start-up, without a dedicated compliance team until very recently, the management had to take on quite a heavy workload to make this happen,” revealed Gatt.
“At the same time, we found the process to be very well managed and especially appreciate the efficiency of the MGA’s team and our advisers Helix Partners in the process of helping us reach this milestone.

“It’s especially thrilling to know that we are now taking these important final steps on the path to seeing our solutions going live, with jackpots planned for launch with multiple operators early next year,” she added.
BeyondPlay was created with the intention to turn solo online gaming sessions into a more social, multiplayer experience that can be shared with others through streaming.
The company is now awaiting the approval of its UKGC licence and has plans to kickstart the licence application process in both Ontario (Canada) and the US during 2023.
Pelc, who is also the CEO of BeyondPlay, added: “We feel passionately that we are building some of the most robust gamification solutions seen anywhere in the iGaming sector.
“We are grateful to have these high-profile operators showing such early trust in and commitment to our first product going live – the BeyondPlay Jackpot.”
BeyondPlay – which possesses an all-female C-level team – successfully recruited Oakvale Capital partner and M&A supremo Daniel Burns to its board of directors in October.
