DraftKings slammed for “reprehensible” 9/11-themed parlay promo

DraftKings apologised following outcry from users on social media, who complained the promo was “tone deaf” and in “poor taste”.
The Boston-based company wrote: “We sincerely apologise for the featured parlay that was shared briefly in commemoration of 9/11.
“We respect the significance of this day for our country and especially for the families of those who were directly affected.”
“We expect all licensees to exercise sensitivity,” it added.
