Gaming Corps appoints Danielle Calafato as CCO and establishes a commercial hub in Malta


Game developer Gaming Corps has promoted Danielle Calafato to the position of chief commercial officer (CCO).
Calafato, who joined the company in 2021 as head of commercial, will now oversee Gaming Corps’ expansion plans from a new commercial hub to be established in Malta.
The move is part of Gaming Corps’ strategy to accelerate growth.
Gaming Corps is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market and headquartered in Sweden.
The company has already experienced significant success, with year-on-year net sales growth of 628% to SEK5.37m for Q4 2022, and partnerships with more than 400 operator brands, with another 400 set to go live.
Calafato brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having held senior positions at various iGaming companies, including Microgaming, Ganapati, NetEnt and Catena Media.
Commenting on her promotion, Calafato said: “The company has achieved impressive feats in a relatively brief timeframe, and I am excited to be given the chance to build upon this success.
“We have big plans in the pipeline, and I am confident that with the talent and expertise of our team, we will achieve even greater heights,” she added.

Mats Lundin, who previously held the CCO role, has been appointed director of sales.
Lundin said he was proud of what he and his team had achieved during the last three years, and looked forward to his new role in “new business.”
Gaming Corps was founded in 2014, and its iGaming portfolio includes casino slots, multiplier games, mine games and table games.
The company has development studios in Malta and Ukraine, and the new commercial hub in Malta will provide staff with a formal place of work to support future growth.
