Real Luck Group, owner of esports betting operator Luckbox, has announced the launch of casino games on its online wagering platform.

Luckbox said its casino offering, which went live on Monday, complements its existing esports and sports betting capabilities, as the business aims to capitalise on the growth of the online casino vertical around the world in the coming years.

While most of the business’ efforts this year have been focused on recalibrating Luckbox’s wagering platform, the launch of online casino marks the company’s most substantial milestone in the process, according to chief executive Thomas Rosander.

“We will continue to iteratively enhance our proprietary products as we strive towards providing a superior betting experience for the next generation of players,” he said.

“The addition of casino brings Real Luck Group an expected near-term revenue stream in a vertical where I have had prior successes throughout my career, including my tenure as CEO of Dunder, which achieved annual revenues of €80m in less than three years.

“With almost $16 million of cash and no debt, as of September 30, 2021, Real Luck Group is well-capitalised to continue evolving our Luckbox platform and execute on our organic player marketing program, as we embark on our revenue growth phase.

“I want to thank our team for achieving this major milestone, within the timeline we have committed to our stakeholders.”

Rosander concluded that the business will now put focus on its growth strategy, with plans to scale its player acquisition efforts across all three verticals of sports betting, esports betting and casino in the new year.
