PressEnter Group has recruited Betsson’s David Plumi as its new regional managing director for Spain and Latam as it looks to inspire growth across both regions.

Plumi spent two years at Betsson as MD for Spain after joining the operator from the Larry Casino business he co-founded in 2017. Prior to that, Plumi occupied the head of VIP and CRM role at PokerStars.

He also boasts extensive Spanish market experience, having worked as head of affiliates for Cirsa and as head of VIP and product manager for casino and poker at Sportium while based in Barcelona.

Plumi has now been tasked with building PressEnter’s Spanish and Latam teams and ensuring the business and its brands are ready for launch in each market.

The Malta-based operator’s brand portfolio includes 21.com, JustSpin, NeonVegas, NitroCasino, UltraCasino and the recently launched RapidCasino.

PressEnter chief commercial officer Thomas Groven said: “David is an incredibly talented and passionate executive with an unrivalled understanding of Spanish speaking markets. This makes him the perfect candidate to lead our drive into Spain and Latin America.

“These are markets where we see tremendous potential for our brands, but they are also markets with plenty of hurdles to clear.

“David is absolutely the best person for the job, and I look forward to working with him closely as we grow our presence in the region,” he added.

Plumi commented: “Latam really is the place to be, and we want to jump into the market early and build a foundation for growth while following regulations and ensuring compliance at all times.”
