Sportradar has recruited Rima Hyder, former SVP of investor and media relations at financial information provider FactSet, as its new head of investor relations.

Sportradar said Hyder brings nearly 20 years of experience in finance, communications and investor relations, which will enable the Nasdaq-listed firm to deepen relationships and better inform investors during “a critical juncture in the company’s growth”.

Earlier in her career, Hyder led investor relations for education technology company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, which she helped complete a 2013 IPO. She also worked for Energy Future Holdings, where she led investor communications across the company’s $40bn debt programme.

Hyder will be based in the US and will report to Sportradar CFO Alex Gersh.

Gersh said: “We welcome Rima to Sportradar and are eager to tap into her wealth of experience leading investor relations for some of the largest and most successful organisations, especially as we enter our next phase of growth as a public company. Rima is a highly valuable addition to our team as we strive to achieve our ambitious goals.”

Hyder added: “As the leading data and technology company in sports, Sportradar sits in a compelling position, during a time of change and rapid growth in the industry. I’m thrilled to join Sportradar and communicate its growth story to investors.”

Earlier this week, Sportradar announced two new partnerships; a multi-year agreement to increase the integrity measures it supplies to the Royal Netherlands Football Association, and a memorandum of understanding with Brazil’s Federal Police, which is aimed at strengthening and protecting sports integrity in the jurisdiction.
