Play’n GO, the world’s leading casino entertainment provider, has today announced its leading slot titles are available to play in the US state of West Virginia for the first time.
Going live first in the Mountain State with BetMGM, players in West Virginia will be able to enjoy Play’n GO classics like Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Boat Bonanza and the recently shortlisted 2023 game of the year Gerard’s Gambit.
This is the fourth US iGaming state where Play’n GO’s games are live, following New Jersey, Michigan and Connecticut.
Magnus Natt och Dag, commercial director North America, Play’n GO said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our game catalogue to players in West Virginia, and we’re confident that players there will love engaging with our content.
“Play’n GO prides itself on producing games that engage players and keep them coming back for more, and we’re sure that we will replicate our success here in West Virginia too.
“Success in a sustainable, regulated industry has always been Play’n GO’s primary focus, and we can’t wait to get started in West Virginia.”
Hacksaw Gaming is delighted to announce its entry into the US iGaming arena after agreeing a content distribution deal with Rush Street Interactive, Inc, one of the most trusted and fastest-growing online casino and sports betting gaming companies in the United States.
The landmark agreement sees a series of popular Hacksaw Gaming online slots integrated into the operator’s BetRivers brand through Light & Wonder’s distribution network.
Kicking off the partnership, gritty 2022 creation The Bowery Boys is now available to play at the West Virginia platform of BetRivers, with flagship title Wanted Dead or a Wild following later today. An assortment of hit Hacksaw Gaming games like Toshi Video Club, Stack’em, Joker Bombs, Gladiator Legends, and Hand of Anubis are set to be added over the coming weeks.
Hacksaw Gaming’s maiden US venture marks a significant step forward as part of a broader strategy to grow its international footprint, adding West Virginia to the studio’s list of certified jurisdictions that also includes MGA, UKGC, Romania, Greece, Netherlands, Latvia, Ontario, Italy, and Sweden.
CCO of Hacksaw Gaming, Gabrielle Star, hailed the agreement, saying: “Today’s news represents a huge milestone for us. We’re overjoyed to make our long-awaited US bow with RSI’s BetRivers, one of the leading casino brands in the states, capping months of hard work behind the scenes.
“As one of the first few states to adopt a forward-leaning approach towards iGaming, West Virginia is the ideal market to begin our US journey and we have no doubt that our extensive game library will resonate with its BetRivers players.
“This is just the beginning. We’ll be looking to explore more collaborative opportunities with RSI in our bid to become provider of choice for casino fans in West Virginia and across the country as more states liberalize their outlook on iGaming.”
Rush Street Interactive’s CEO, Richard Schwartz, added: “We are so pleased to extend our partnership with Hacksaw Gaming into the US, after our successful launch with them in Ontario last month.
“We are thrilled to further enhance our industry leading online casino portfolio and entertainment experience at BetRivers.com in West Virginia, by adding Hacksaw’s exciting mix of new and popular casino games.”
Wynn Resorts’ online casino and sports betting app WynnBET launched in the state of West Virginia yesterday (22 June).
West Virginia is the 11th US state where WynnBET is live. Crucially, it represents the third state in which WynnBET offers online casino, alongside Michigan and New Jersey.
The app is available to download from the Google Play Store and Apple Store and includes classic casino games, live dealer blackjack and roulette, video poker and keno games.
Typically, the operator is offering bonus incentives to boost customer acquisition.
For example, new casino users are eligible for a deposit match of $1,000, while sportsbook players will receive $100 in free credit if they wager the same amount in real money.
“We would like to thank the West Virginia Lottery Commission for working with us throughout our licensure process in the state,” said Wynn Sports Interactive president Ian Williams.
“We are thrilled to bring our first-class online casino and sportsbook to players in West Virginia, marking our second state launch this year and the third iCasino market to our growing portfolio,” he added.
The WynnBET brand belongs to Wynn Interactive, which is the online gaming division of Nasdaq-listed land-based casino giant Wynn Resorts.
The app is currently live in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia, as well as West Virginia.
The company expects to confirm further expansion into US states shortly, with several licence applications pending.
Stockholm-listed Evolution is further expanding into the North American market and has gone live with its live casino offering for operators in West Virginia.
The move is part of Evolution’s strategy to become the world’s number one provider of online casino games. The B2B provider operates two business lines: live casino and RNG, with live providing the bulk of annual revenues.
North America is a rapidly growing market for Evolution. Q1 2022 financial results showed that North America has become the group’s third-largest revenue contributor, after the Rest of Europe (excluding the Nordics and the UK) and Asia.
In fact, Evolution’s first-quarter revenue from this market has increased by 92.7%, from €19.1m in March 2021 to €36.8m in March 2022.
Evolution opened its first US live casino studio in August 2018 in New Jersey. This was followed by studios in Pennsylvania and Michigan, while a studio in Connecticut will launch later this year. Its West Virginia offering will be live streamed from a studio in neighbouring Pennsylvania.
West Virginia is the fourth US state where Evolution operates live casino. However, its slots portfolio, including acquired titles from NetEnt, Red Tiger and Big Time Gaming, has been available in the market since September 2020.
Evolution North America commercial director Jeff Millar: “Players in West Virginia have had access to our extensive slots offering from our group brand NetEnt for some time. Now our live offering adds even more choice and, of course, a new dimension of excitement.”
Operators in West Virginia will now have access to Evolution’s wide range of live casino games. The first live dealer games for the Mountain State will include Live Roulette, Lightning Roulette, Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.
Jeff Millar, commercial director North America at Evolution, said: “We are so happy to bring our live dealer games to players in West Virginia. We are sure online players will absolutely love what they see and the experience of playing live at the tables, just as they would in a real land-based casino.
“Players in West Virginia have had access to our extensive slots offering from our Group brand NetEnt for some time. Now our live offering adds even more choice and, of course, a new dimension of excitement as online players bet in real-time, with real dealers and alongside fellow online players,” Miller added.
