Sony has joined forces with US operator BetMGM and gaming technology supplier IGT to turn its iconic TV game show Wheel of Fortune into an online casino.
The new Wheel of Fortune-branded online casino will launch in New Jersey later this year.
Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, said: “Wheel of Fortune is watched nightly by millions of people and BetMGM is honoured to partner with Sony Pictures Television and IGT to bring this online casino experience to life.
“Once live, Wheel of Fortune Casino will offer players the excitement of their favourite gameshow and real money wagering in the palm of their hand,” he added.
Wheel of Future premiered in 1983 and is currently preparing for its 40th anniversary season. More than 250 versions of Wheel of Fortune slot games have been introduced over the last 25 years. The online launch of Wheel of Fortune Casino will represent the latest gaming extension for the brand.

The Wheel of Fortune online casino will play host to branded slot titles produced by Nasdaq-listed software supplier IGT, along with many other themed games and features.
