Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer, Evolution
Every once in a while, an individual’s sheer brilliance simply and consistently stands out. Luck of the draw perhaps? Could be, but in the case of Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer of iGaming giant Evolution, it is more a case of extraordinary talent, unwavering dedication, and unmatched passion for what he does.  That, and a sharp, whip-smart mind unquestionably only adds to his incredible reputation for amazing ingenuity.

Despite still being in his forties, Todd Haushalter’s love affair with gaming began quite a long time ago. From creating his own dice game at 10 years old, to dealing Blackjack and Roulette to make money to put himself through school, Todd’s unique and innovative mindset has been the main driver of his colourful and most distinguished career. Recognised as one of the most brilliant minds to hail from the iGaming sector, Todd started as a casino dealer with London Clubs International. He has also worked in Washington, DC with the American Gaming Association (AGA).

He is also behind several of the biggest casino games in the world including Dream Catcher, Lightning Roulette, Super Sic Bo, MONOPOLY Live, Infinite Blackjack, Mega Ball, Lightning Dice, and Crazy Time, which are among the world’s highest earning games. He has held senior leadership positions in the operations, supplier, and internet sectors of the gaming industry, working directly with over 300 casinos across 45 countries on five continents and over 200 online casinos.

Prior to his current role, Todd was Corporate Vice President of Gaming Operations for MGM Resorts International. He also held roles at Shuffle Master as Vice President of Business Strategy, Director of Product Development, and Product Director – Asia. In addition, Todd spent almost five years at Wynn Resorts where he was focused on identifying and implementing new ways to increase casino profitability. Todd holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

A resumé which reads more like a ‘who’s who’ of the gaming industry than a mere career CV. But fast forward to the present day and we find Todd Haushalter in the coveted role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Evolution Gaming, a Swedish company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange with a market cap of approximately €30 billion and the biggest supplier of live casino games in the world, with over 10,000 employees.

But away from data and number crunching, Todd claims that as CPO he has ‘the most fun job in gaming’, quite an accurate description indeed. At Evolution he describes himself as the ‘evangelist’ in charge of game production, overseeing from start to finish the mammoth process of developing a game from an abstract concept to a finished product, offering new and unprecedented gambling experiences to consumers. Todd’s ethos as Evolution’s CPO has remained steadfast since the very beginning, that is to consistently ‘think about the player first and make games players will love’.

However, Todd’s vast insight and skill reaches far beyond his role at Evolution. A regular speaker at universities and events around the world, his keynote speeches have, over the years, served as an outstanding yardstick for several individuals and companies within the iGaming sector. His keen eye for detail and a remarkable creative mind, as well as his down to earth approach have earned him not only several plaudits from his industry peers, but much-deserved recognition from way beyond.

Now Todd’s amazing presence, knowledge and experience will be shared on iGaming NEXT’s July instalment of POWER Hour; a short, compact, educational, and social digital gathering which brings together some of the iGaming industry’s brightest and most connected minds. This time around this unprecedented instalment of POWER Hour, promises, more than ever to deliver some incredibly powerful life-changing lessons indeed. Silicon Valley legend Guy Kawasaki will join Todd Haushalter in the keynote session.
